Etiquette & Policies:

Appointments: We recommend scheduling spa appointments in advance. Reservations require a credit card to confirm your treatments. Walk-in appointments are subject to availability but cannot be confirmed without a credit card on file.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in, filling out the intake form, and changing into your robe and slippers. We provide lockers for your personal belongings. Complimentary water, tea, or wine are available for our guests. Please note: a 20% service charge will be added to your services at our DESUAR Spa locations in Monterey and at the Westin Bonaventure, with 15% of that going to your therapist.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: 

Please Note: Company policy requires that the credit card be present at checkout. We are unable to process “card on file” transactions.

Due to an increase in fraudulent transactions we are no longer able to process any transactions using a stored credit card. If you are booking for another person you will need to verify card ownership before we can accept third party payment Please call the spa to complete verification before the appointment begins.

 

Cancellation: 

To avoid being charged for your treatment, please cancel or make changes to your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. Refer to our cancellation policy for more details.

Gratuities: 

Gratuity is always appreciated. We suggest a gratuity of 20% of the full price of the service provided. For promotional vouchers, a minimum 15% gratuity is required, which can be charged to your credit card if not provided. Please note that a 20% service charge will be added to your services at our DESUAR Spa locations in Monterey and at the Westin Bonaventure, with 15% of that going to your therapist.

SpaWeek/SpaFinder Gift Cards

We accept these gift cards for full-priced treatments only, and they cannot be combined with discounts or promotions, These gift cards also cannot be used to purchase products, nor can they be used to pay for gratuities or service charges. A credit card is still required to book your appointment, and failure to meet our cancellation policy will result in a charge to your credit card.

Promotional Vouchers:

A credit card is required to book appointments with promotional vouchers. Failure to meet our cancellation policy will result in a charge to your credit card, and the voucher will not be redeemed.

Late Arrival: 

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to complete the intake form and get assigned a locker. Your appointment will start promptly at the scheduled time, and late arrival may reduce the length of your service to accommodate other spa guests.

Quiet Zone: 

Please respect the privacy and tranquility of other spa guests by speaking softly and silencing your cell phone.

Medical: 

Inform us of any medical or special needs to ensure your service meets your requirements.

VALUABLES: 

We recommend not bringing valuables to the spa, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Your Preferences: 

Let us know your preferences when making a reservation, such as room temperature, staff gender, music, or massage pressure, so we can personalize your experience.

Gift Cards: 

Purchase gift cards online, in the spa, or by phone.

Pregnancy: 

Our spa treatments can be enjoyed during pregnancy, including prenatal massage and all-natural facials (except during the first trimester).

SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS: 

Please be advised that same-day appointments are non-refundable. Once a same-day appointment is booked and confirmed, it cannot be refunded

lATE rESCHEDLING: 

If you need to reschedule your appointment instead of canceling it, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. For more details, please refer to our cancellation & rescheduling policy

rETURN POLICY: 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from DESUAR Spa. Here are some guidelines for our return policy

PARKING

At DESUAR Spa, we want to ensure your entire experience is as relaxing as possible. We highly encourage ride-sharing to simplify your visit.

LOS ANGELES (at Westin Bonaventure)

Parking: Street parking between 9am and 3pm is available on metered spaces only from Monday to Friday, with a 2-hour time limit. Please note that there is no street parking between 3pm and 7pm on weekdays. However, street parking is free after 8pm (please check the meter) on weekdays and all day Sunday.

Parking Lots: To facilitate your parking needs, there are several parking lots in the immediate area, especially along S Flower Street. We recommend the following nearby parking lots:

HOLLYWOOD

Parking: There is ample street parking around the spa, much of it free on Cassil Pl..

Parking Lot: Our Hollywood location does have a parking lot, although space is very limited. Access is controlled by front desk staff, please call for entry and please be patient as they may not be immediately available.

MONTEREY (at Casa Munras)

Parking: There may be parking available in the hotel parking lot, but cannot be guaranteed. There is also 2-hour street parking available on Munras Ave.
